Butter Layer Creation

Description

1. Prepare the butter (the butter should be cold and soft).
2. Form the butter into a block (roll the butter into a rectangle between two sheets of parchment paper).
3. Chill the butter (place it in the fridge to firm up).
4. Prepare the dough for lamination (roll the dough into a rectangle).
5. Place the butter in the dough (put the butter on one half of the dough and fold the other half over it).
6. Seal the butter in the dough (carefully pinch the edges to ensure the butter doesn’t leak).

The butter is now ready for lamination!
